We are experienced contractors who help domestic and commercial customers with a range of asbestos issues. Once a cornerstone of construction, asbestos has now been banned on health grounds. Despite the ban, asbestos remains present in many buildings. Our team can help you identify asbestos and provide a thorough risk assessment.

Asbestos Removal

Most asbestos in its solid form is harmless; however, any disruption to the substance can result in harmful fibres becoming airborne. That’s why anyone planning a renovation, refurbishment or demolition should seek advice from a trusted asbestos specialist. We are fully licensed to remove asbestos and ensure your building is free from contamination.

Other asbestos-containing materials we commonly deal with are:

Flue Pipes
Door linings
Panelling to Boiler Cupboards
Pipe Lagging
Thermal Insulation

Asbestos Surveys in Twickenham

It is legally necessary for commercial buildings to identify and manage asbestos. A survey can identify the presence of asbestos, its type and overall condition. It can also be requested to verify older findings. We offer two primary types of asbestos surveys across Twickenham & Whitton:

Asbestos Management Survey (previously known as Type 2)
Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Survey (previously known as Type 3)

Artex Removal

Artex is a textured coating often seen throughout homes designed between the 1960s and 1980s. Commonly found on ceilings and walls, it was often lined with asbestos. We can remove Artex from entire properties as well as targeted places, where the material will be disturbed, such as when fitting a new light.

Asbestos Testing

We can test physical samples of material as well as air particles to detect the presence of asbestos. This testing can be done before refurbishment work or as a remedial check once asbestos has been removed to make sure no traces of the substance remain.

Asbestos Roofs

An asbestos roof left undisturbed poses little risk, but could become an issue if you wish to renovate or demolish your garage. We are available throughout Twickenham to remove asbestos roofs, taking away the cement slats, ceilings, insulation and residual rubble.

Pre-Purchase Surveys

Purchasing a house is a significant decision, and you may want to know whether asbestos could be present. Standard property surveys can flag materials suspected of containing asbestos, but specialist contractors are required to confirm its presence and consider the implications. This information can help you assess the property before making a final commitment.

Asbestos Abatement

Our asbestos abatement services are offered across Twickenham to help with the safe and effective management of hazardous materials. Depending on the circumstances, this may include encapsulation work, creating a protective seal that helps prevent asbestos fibres from being released.

Other Areas We Cover

As well as Twickenham, we also serve customers in the following locations:

Richmond
Kingston-Upon-Thames
Hampton Hill
