Asbestos Re-inspection – Surbiton School
- Location: Surbiton
Background
Key Asbestos Services Ltd was asked to carry out a scheduled asbestos re-inspection at Surbiton School. The purpose of the visit was to check previously identified asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), confirm their condition had not changed and ensure the asbestos register remained accurate.
Work Undertaken
Our surveyor revisited the known asbestos locations throughout the school and carried out a detailed visual inspection. Each previously identified asbestos material was checked for signs of damage, deterioration or disturbance. Photographs and condition notes were updated where required and the findings were recorded as part of the re-inspection.
Outcome
The inspection confirmed that the previously identified asbestos materials remained in a satisfactory condition with no evidence of damage requiring immediate action. The asbestos register was updated, giving the school confidence that the materials continue to be managed safely.
Result
Regular asbestos re-inspections help duty holders demonstrate ongoing compliance while ensuring asbestos-containing materials remain safely managed over time.
