We recently removed Artex-coated ceilings from the ground floor of a house in Cobham, Surrey. The work involved protecting the existing parquet flooring, sealing off the staircase and removing the plasterboard ceilings using a fibre suppressant spray. Following a full environmental clean and independent air reassurance testing, the builders were able to start work the next morning.
